David Brammeld is a Staffordshire artist whose subject matter includes the ever-changing urban environment. He also paints the natural landscape and particularly the infinite beauty of trees.
David has many years experience and has won a number of awards. He works in various media which incude graphite, pastel, acrylic and oil. He also uses mixed media.
Brammeld is in popular demand as an art tutor, demonstrator and workshop leader.
“I am intrigued by the urban built environment – the hidden histories of derelict buildings, old disused factories and houses. They all have a story to tell. I also produce treescapes. I am fascinated by their shapes and character especially during the changing seasons when their strength and beauty are revealed.”
David exhibits nationally and internationally. His work has featured regularly in exhibitions in London. He has had shows at the Mall Galleries. He has also shown in annual exhibitions by the Pastel Society, the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), the New English Art Club (NEAC). He also exhibited with the Royal Society of Oil Painters (ROI). His work is shown several times a year at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) Gallery.
He is an Elected Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and Member of the Royal Society of British Artists.
